We will collect you from your hotel in Cusco early in the morning. We will then head towards the picturesque town of Pisac, which is approximately 33 kilometers (20.5 miles) from Cusco. Once there, you will have ample time to explore the Incan ruins and marvel at the intricate agricultural terraces.
Following our visit to Pisac, we will proceed to Ollantaytambo, another remarkable archaeological site. Here, you will step back in time as you roam the streets of this ancient Incan city. At Ollantaytambo train station, we will catch an evening train to Aguas Calientes. This scenic train ride will take about 1 hour and 30 minutes.
In Aguas Calientes, we will check you into your accommodation where you can rest and prepare for the exciting day ahead.
The second day of the tour starts with an early morning bus ride to Machu Picchu, just 25 minutes. On arrival at the Incan citadel, we will offer you fascinating insights into the history and culture of the inca Trails. Following the guided tour, you will have free time to explore Machu Picchu at your leisure.
After a fulfilling day, we will catch the late afternoon train back to Ollantaytambo. From there, we will drive you back to your hotel in Cusco, completing our 2-day Sacred Valley Machu Picchu Tour. The approximate arrival time back in Cusco will be around 10:00 pm.
