Sacred Valley Machu Picchu 2 day Tour Itinerary
DAY 1: SACRED VALLEY
The Sacred Valley offers a variety of tourist attractions that require time to explore properly. To fully enjoy everything it has to offer, we have divided the visit options into two different itineraries.
Both itineraries begin at 7:00 am, and from there, we connect to Machu Picchu.
Option 01: VIA PISAC (PISAC RUINS, PISAC MARKET, OLLANTAYTAMBO)
We will start your Sacred Valley excursion by picking you up from your hotel at 7:00 am in Cusco. Our first destination is the impressive Pisac ruins and the vibrant Pisac Market, where you can enjoy local crafts and culture.
After a delicious lunch in Urubamba (optional), we will head to the Ollantaytambo Archaeological Site, an ancient Incan citadel of great historical importance. We will conclude our journey by boarding a train with PERURAIL or INCARAIL, which will take us to the town of Machu Picchu.
Our commitment is to provide you with a complete and enriching experience, where every moment is filled with discoveries and fascination.
Option 02: VIA CHINCHERO (CHINCHERO, MARAS-MORAY, AND OLLANTAYTAMBO)
On this one-day tour of the Sacred Valley from Cusco, we will pick you up at 7:00 am from your hotel. We will begin with a visit to the Chinchero Textile Center, where you will learn about the region’s rich textile tradition. Then, we will head to the charming Colonial Town of Maras.
From Maras, we will continue to the Incan site of Moray, famous for its circular terraces that were once used for agricultural experiments. Next, we will visit the impressive salt mines, dating back to pre-Inca times, where water is channeled through pools to produce pure salt crystals.
Our final destination will be the Ollantaytambo ruins, an ancient Incan citadel offering breathtaking views and fascinating history. After our exploration, we will board a train with PERURAIL or INCARAIL, which will take us to the town of Machu Picchu.
DAY 2: VISIT TO MACHU PICCHU
The next day, you will have breakfast at the hotel. After enjoying your meal, the guide will pick you up and take you to the Consettur bus station, which will transport you to the Machu Picchu Sanctuary in a 30-minute ride. Upon arrival at the sanctuary entrance, you will present your admission ticket and original passport.
Once inside, you will have a guided tour with the group for 2 hours, where we will provide detailed information about the site.
Here you will board the return train at 15:20 to Ollantaytambo connection Cusco, wanchaq station where our staff will be waiting to take you to your hotel.
