Sacred Valley Private Tour – Itinerary
The Sacred Valley shows you a variety of tourist attractions that require time to explore properly. In order to fully enjoy everything it offers, we have divided the visit options into 2 different itineraries.
Below, we present the options so you can choose the one that best suits your interests and available time.
Option 01: By Pisac (Alpacas Estate, Pisac Ruins, Ollantaytambo and Chinchero)
We will begin your excursion to the Sacred Valley by picking you up from your hotel at 7:00 am in Cusco. Our first destination is the impressive Pisac ruins and the vibrant Pisac shop, where you can enjoy local crafts and silversmithing.
Afterwards, we will head to Urubamba to enjoy a delicious lunch and recharge for the next part of our adventure.
After a delicious lunch in Urubamba we will go to the archaeological site of Ollantaytambo, an ancient Inca citadel of great historical importance.
Later, we will visit the ruins of Chinchero, where you can further immerse yourself in the rich history and culture of the Sacred Valley.
Then, we will go to the textile market where they will provide us with information on how the fabric process is carried out.
Finally we will conclude our day at approximately 18:30 in the city of Cusco.
Option 02: Super Valley (Chinchero, Maras-Moray, Ollantaytambo and Pisac Ruins)
Note: There will be a category upgrade of $15 per person for this option.
In this Sacred Valley tour option from Cusco, we will pick you up at 07:00 am at your hotel. We will begin with a visit to the Chinchero Textile Center, where you will learn about the rich textile tradition of the place. Then we will go to the charming Colonial Town of Maras.
From Maras we will continue towards the Inca site of Moray, famous for its circular terraces that were once used for experimenting with crops. We will then visit the impressive salt mines dating back to pre-Inca times, where water is channeled through pools to produce pure salt crystals.
After the guided tour we will go to Urubamba. Here we will have a 1-hour stop to enjoy our lunch at a tourist restaurant.
Next, we will continue our tour until we reach the town of Ollantaytambo, an ancient Inca citadel that offers impressive views and a fascinating history.
After visiting Ollantaytambo, we will head to Pisac to explore its impressive ruins.
Finally, after a day full of discoveries, we will return to Cusco around 19:00, thus concluding our day of exploration in the Sacred Valley.

Considerations: Sacred Valley Private Tour
For the safest and most enjoyable experience, keep in mind:
- Entrance Fees Excluded
Sacred Valley ticket (70 soles) + Salineras (20 soles) required. Carry 100+ soles cash, cards rarely accepted at rural sites. - Lunch Budgeting Essential
Urubamba meal not included; allocate ~$15 – 25. Restaurants cater to all diets but service slows during 1:00-2:00 PM peak. - Altitude Variation Preparedness
Sites span 2,040m (Pisac) to 3,700m (Chinchero passes). Acclimatize 2 days in Cusco; hydrate aggressively despite “moderate” rating. - Punctual Dawn Departure
7:00 AM sharp pickup critical for crowd avoidance. Delays reduce time at Ollantaytambo’s fortress, set dual alarms! - Terrain-Adaptive Footwear
Sturdy shoes mandatory for Moray’s descending paths and Pisac’s uneven staircases. Avoid sandals, gravel common. - Super Valley Surcharge
Option 2 costs extra $15/person (paid pre-tour). Combines four key sites but involves longer driving distances, pack neck pillows.
