Half DaySouth Valley Tour Itinerary

Our tour begins with the pick up of our passengers from their respective hotels at 8:30 AM. We will start in Tipon. You will be amazed by the precision of the irrigation systems that were integral to the region’s agriculture. The irrigation systems and Inca terraces there showcase the remarkable civil engineering of their time. You’ll witness the remarkable engineering of the Inca period, marveling at the precision of these systems.

Moving ahead will reach Piquillacta ruins, an ancient pre-Inca archaeological site.  The city’s well-preserved streets and buildings provide insights into the lives of the people who lived here centuries ago.

Our journey continues to the Andahuaylillas church, renowned as the ‘Sistine Chapel of the Andes’. The Church of San Pedro Apostol stands as a beacon of the “cultural heritage of the Andes”, with its intricate “Andean Baroque art” and gold leaf detailing on Cusco murals from the 16th and 17th centuries.

As the clock approaches 3:00 PM, we will conclude our adventure and head back to Cusco.
